Mercia Group is one of them!Mercia Group is one of the leading providers of training and support services to the UK accountancy profession, working with over 8000 firms nationwide.Main Purpose of RoleIn this fantastically varied role, you will have full responsibility for the administration and running of accountancy and tax course programmes for a portfolio of online national events, inhouse offerings and (eventually post Covid) face to face venue events, some of which you will even get to attend to support their smooth running.You will be the main point of contact for your portfolio, taking client calls and handling a variety of queries and overall, delivering a key contribution to the development of the business and ensuring that Mercia’s training is always of the highest quality.As youll be totally emerced in the day to day assisting with the planning and organising of various events, including coordinating studios, recordings, venues, speakers, dates and communications to clients, wed also love for you to offer ideas on how we can improve our processes and procedures to ensure continous improvement.As with all job roles, there will be some administrative requirements such as coding, processing and reviewing invoices for venues, speakers, expenses but that just adds to the variety.For this role you need to be extremely proactive and well organised as well as being able to work well within the team but also work under your own initiative.
