Job Description

Our client is looking for an individual with experience in the design and sale of warehouse racking and storage solutions.Your main areas of responsibility will be:

  • Customer management
  • By priority follow up quotations, further promoting services and experience and enhancing conversion rate
  • Choose the most effective way to service the customer with least cost processing and service in mind
  • Be flexible to handle sales calls, service in house quotations, you may be required to visit site to cover External Design due to high volumes of customer requests
Producing Quotation Packs
  • By using effective questioning techniques establish customers needs in detail
  • Produce quotation packs
  • Produce detailed drawing using the AutoCAD package
  • Produce the written quotations outlining the payment terms and proposal
  • Consider design improvements to provide selling benefits
Technical Support
  • Liaise with Supply Chain regarding suppliers to ascertain prices and technical information
  • Gain an understanding and technical knowledge of competitors products
  • Liaise with the Installations Team on booking in jobs ensuring all sufficient paperwork is available
  • Work with the Technical Team to ensure smooth installation of large or complex projects
  • Provide technical support including more technical drawings/quotations for Mail Order and Resellers providing training and guidance
Reporting & Administration
  • Recording proposal information on quotes
  • Follow up of quotations
  • Provide progress report to line manager
  • Continually feedback to Marketing and Merchandising regarding product range and the customer offer
Desired Skills

  • Experience in using effective selling techniques
This position is fully remote but your client base will be in the Midlands so you will need to be able to travel there 2-3 days per week.Benefits:
