Job Description

Investigo are partnering with a global branded services business recruiting a Commercial Analyst based in Leicester under Hybrid working conditions.In the position of Commercial Analyst Leicester you will support the Business Performance Manager responsible for your own portfolio of accounts and in charge of contribution analysis and pricing business partnering with sales and marketing.Key duties to include:

  • Financially evaluate the profitability of annual and multi year contracts negotiated with Corporate accounts.
  • Maintain contribution models to ensure contribution hurdles and annual increases deliver planned revenues and profits.
  • Understand the impact on our profitability from any promotion, marketing fund or rebate offered to a reseller. Ensure where volume increase is required we meet profit targets.
  • Apply strategic guidelines on rates and ancillaries when renegotiating contracts.
  • Identify the main revenue and cost channels for individual accounts in order to understand what drives their profitability.
  • Work closely with named account managers to protect the profitability of any contract being negotiated.
  • Attend customer negotiation meetings to support sales team when necessary.
  • Ensure that the pricing authorisation policy is adhered to by the sales teams.
  • Ad hoc support to Sales Directors.
  • Work with the new business sales team in order to fully understand the needs of potential corporate clients and assist in building models to bid for new and incremental business.
The ProfileThe successful candidate will need to have previously worked in a commercial environment analysing and interpreting key data and present back to the businessAbility to work under own initiative and collectively as part of a teamAdvanced Excel user with ability to analyse large data sets with working knowledge of working with Google Mail, Google Drive, Google Sheets and Business Objects will be a plusThe Salary£38,000 to £43,000 plus full benefits package along with Hybrid working circa 1 to 2 days office based in Leicester
