De Montfort University’s (DMU) Estates & Facilities department are expanding! We’re looking to recruit a full-time, day time Cleaner. Shifts will be 08.45am - 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am - 4.45pm on Friday.DMU is an ambitious, globally minded and culturally rich university with a strong commitment to the public good. The next 5 years will continue to build on this success and our growthto provide a modern, safe, and inspiring environment that our students and staff have come to expect.RoleAs a Cleaner you will work within allocated buildings of the University. This busy and varied role incorporates all duties related to both general and reactive cleaning, assistance with ceremonies and corporate events and ensuring all buildings are readyfor the university to commence business and enhance our facilities for all visitors, students and staff visiting our award-winning campus.This role is on a full time, permanent basis.Ideal CandidateWe are looking for an individual ideally with previous cleaning experience. You will have experience of using modern cleaning methods and cleaning machinery/tools. You will be provided with training when you join the team.
