CK Science is recruiting for a Clean Room Technician on behalf of a leading manufacturer of high performance materials, to be based at their site in Leicester on a permanent basis.The Company:Our client is a manufacturer of high performance materials, which are used in a range of consumer goods applications. This well established company supplies into instantly recognisable brands, and their products are instantly recognisable.The Role:Your duties will include:- Ensure all electroforming processes are undertaken and comply to quality and security requirements.- Provide production process support in the cleanroom laboratories, minimising waste and processing time, aligning with process specifications (SOPs), and updating when required.- Prepare, review and complete documentation, comply with relevant ISO quality and security requirements.- Review equipment, consumables and processes for continuous improvements.- Work with various software packages, including bespoke applications.- Provide support within other processes to help maintain high levels of service.Your Background:To be considered for the role you should have: - A suitable science qualifications (A levels or above), or 5 years+ experience within a comparable workplace environment.- Experience working in a cleanroom environment and must be comfortable using cleanroom clothing.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Experience with electroforming/electroplating an advantage.- Familiarity with 5S and similar practices would be an advantage.Entitlement to work in the UK is essential.
