Who is recruitingIndependence Capital ("IC") are a hybrid private equity & advisory firm specialising in facilitating management-led growth opportunities. IC commonly enable teams and leaders who have been through private equity before but whom wish for the next ventureto see management more favourably benefit. To date we have assisted leaders from global family office backed businesses, UK and US listed businesses and global industrial conglomerates.What is the roleLed by a private global industrialist, we have an active strategy in engineering services where a buy-build programme will be conducted around a £2-3m+ EBITDA platform onto which multiple acquisitions will be made over the next 2 years which take the groupto in excess of £10m EBITDA before an exit horizon around 5-7 years.The platform being acquired has no incumbent CFO/FD and the group therefore requires a seasoned CFO to assist both with the enhancement of strategy, control environment and reporting capability as well as assistance with future acquisitions and integrationof the same.What candidates are soughtCandidates should have experience of M&A, integration, transformation and high-growth delivery. It is not a necessity to have private equity experience but this maybe helpful. It is not a necessity that the candidate has sector expertise in engineering servicesbut this, again, would be helpful. It would be advantageous if the candidate had demonstrable experience harnessing data and digital transformation as re-platforming finance will be critical to scale and success.Reward and travel
