Job Description

Job Title: Carer AssistantLocation: LeicesterSalary: £10.00 per hour (which increases over time)Job type: Full or Part time.Please note: Applicants must have the right to Live & Work in the UK. Also, must be willing to travel to the LE2, LE4, LE5 areas.Who We Are:We provide home care to clients in Leicester and the surrounding areas by employing a team of highly skilled carers to visit people in the comfort of their own home to support with various tasks.The Role:

  • Providing personal, domestic and social support to service users in their own homes.
  • Helping people in and out of bed, assisting to wash and get dressed, and assisting with meals and medication.
  • Working effectively as part of a team to ensure complete comfort.
  • Working to time critical schedules in line with care plans provided.
  • Ensuring safety and maintaining dignity, respect and confidentiality.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Would have the ability to drive to various locations
  • Previous training and experience are desirable but not essential as training is provided
  • Will need to be able to work one day at the weekend or alternate weekends
  • Friendly, professional, energetic and passionate with real people skills
  • A basic level of Maths and English (essential)
