Job Description

Buying AdministratorJob Title: Buying AdministratorLocation: LeicesterJob Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Office Based, Term Time possibleSalary: £26,000 - £26,500per annumBenefits: 26 days of holiday + Stat Holiday, 37 hours per week, SUPERB PensionJob Duties:

  • Raising Purchase Order
  • Negotiating prices with suppliers
  • Collaborating with internal teams to identify purchasing needs and source suppliers.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Responding to queries and resolving issues related to purchasing.
  • Adhering to financial regulations and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar buying administration role.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Working Conditions:
  • The role is based in Leicester.
  • The position is full-time, with an expected 37 hours of work per week.
