An opportunity has arisen to join De Montfort Universitys (DMU) Continuous Improvement Team as a Business Process Improvement Analyst. Our success is built on a fantastic student experience coupled with award-winning teaching and world-class facilities that help students develop the skills and attitudes employers demand.Faculty / DirectorateThe People & Organisational Development (POD) Directorate supports DMU in attracting, developing and retaining staff, facilitating high standards of organisational performance, and providing support to colleagues to ensure a high-quality student experience.We offer learning and development, support for recruitment and retention, strategic change projects, policies, procedures and guidance on equality, health and wellbeing.The Continuous Improvement Team forms part of the People & Organisational Development Directorate and plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of DMUs large scale strategic programmes and projects.RoleAs a Business Process Improvement Analyst, you will be supporting the introduction of a continuous improvement culture through providing direct business process reviews and skills transfer to the wider organisation.Your new job will require you to be client facing in delivering business process improvement (BPI) project(s). This will involve scoping and diagnostic work, workshop facilitation, the application of Continuous Improvement tools, and relevant data analysis.You will set the standards, processes, templates, targets, training and support delivery where required.You will also be required to be actively involved in providing externally accredited Continuous Improvement training to our colleagues across DMU.For any internal candidates we will be able to offer a secondment opportunity.The role can be carried out on a hybrid basis.Ideal CandidateAs the Business Process Improvement Analyst, we are also interested in any experience you may have in using Operational Research / Advanced Analytics tools such as simulation modelling and Systems Thinking.
