Band 7 Clinical Psychologist – full time substantive positionLeicestershire Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders TeamAs part of an exciting expansion of the specialist CAMHS Eating Disorder Team, we are looking to recruit a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist. The team currently consists of psychiatry, psychology, psychotherapy, family therapy and nursing staff who work closely with outpatient, inpatient and adult services to ensure a quality care and a seamless service provision. The additional investment will enhance our multi-disciplinary complement to include a paediatrician, dietician and a senior healthcare assistant. Our service offers early intervention using evidence-based approaches to young people up to the age of 18 and their families/carers. The team are based at Mawson House, Leicester.The position will offer the candidate the opportunity to develop specialist skills in the assessment and treatment of young people using evidenced based interventions. There are excellent learning opportunities under the supervision of accredited therapists. The service is research active and has engaged in some exiting local, national and international research opportunities. There will be a significant amount of team work, where we expect excellent communication and organisation skills and would encourage applications from newly qualified Clinical Psychologists who have demonstrated an enthusiasm for working with young people with eating disorders.We take pride in working together to maintain a supportive and friendly workplace that welcomes young people and their families into the service.
