Job Description

Encore are looking for Automotive Assembly Operatives for Europes Leading Axle and Suspension Manufacturer in Leicester!Pay £18,200 - £18,500Permanent roleDay shift (training period) 08:00 - 16:30 Mon-Thurs & 08:00 - 15:00 FridayEarly shift 06:00 - 14:00 Monday - FridayLate shift 14:00 - 22:30 Mon - Thurs & 14:00 to 20:00 FridayBenefits:Permanent jobFree drinksCar parkResponsibilities:

  • Assembly of axle as per the job sheet & drawings.
  • To operate one of the workstations as per the Production Supervisors requirements and maintaining the task sequence and quality output in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
  • Quality checks to be carried at the start of every shift & every new job in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Ensure individual production time sheets are correctly filled in and signed.
  • Keep all areas around and under machines clean and tidy at all times.
  • Required to carry out overtime (at Companys discretion) to cover sickness, holiday and weekend wor
  • Required to wear company uniform at all working times (after the probationary period).
  • Required to do any other job on the shop floor that you have been reasonably asked to do.
  • Ensure continuous production is maintained where possible.
  • Work in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
  • Operate equipment and machinery in a safe manner.
  • Fix minor issue that may arise with the production line and trouble-shooting when production issues occur.

  • Good standard of education.
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work shifts (pattern of early and late) & overtime.
  • Demonstrate team-working ability.
  • Demonstrate ability to accurately follow a specific sequence of tasks.
  • Ability to reasonably communicate in English.
