This role would be partly desk based, writing reports, carrying out quality inspections and warehouse based as you will need to go to thewarehouse to collect products for quality inspection and sample packs for the sales team.This role would be ideal for someone looking to really get under the bonnet of a business, work to processes and who has a passion for delivering quality in their work. The Role:To assist the Quality Technician in the effective running of the quality department.The successful Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:· Assist in assuring all the appropriate samples for inspection are requested and received from Goods inward.· Ensure all sample testing is carried out in a thorough manner, testing products fit for purpose in accordance with product specifications.· Communicate to the relevant department and report on any rejected or quarantined non-conforming products.· To maintain and update the quality department records.· Enter data of products onto the internal system.· Assist with the process of releasing stock, informing relevant departments that the stock is available.· Take responsibility for the sampling processes, including sample picks, sample packs, displays, ensuring that samples are available for and dispatched on behalf of the sales team from UK, Europe, and the US.· Maintain and manage the company image libraries, ensuring all products are accurately photographed and catalogues to agreed company standards.· Ensure the sample aisle is kept maintained on a regular basis.· Assist in implementing the new postal process.· Work closely with the needs of the sales team to ensure that all the outbound past is packed, labelled and courier collections are arranged.The ideal Candidate:Will have great attention to detail, for when creating sample packs, quality inspecting products and devising reports for findings.
