Area Sales Engineer - Pump SolutionsThe Role: The Area Sales Engineer will cover the South East of the UK selling a range of peristaltic pump and hose pump solutions into process end users. Your focus will be industrial sectors, such as general manufacturing, chemical, andpower companies, and environmental sectors, such as water treatment and utilities providers. The Area Sales Engineer will inherit c.80 spending accounts in the region and 50% of the time will be developing new business around the area. The projects can benew build installs through to retrofit and upgrades, no two assignments are the same which give real variety to the role. The Area Sales Engineer will be joining an organisation with excellent ongoing development & training, the infrastructure of a £1bn group,and excellent marketing & sales support from their head office in the South West.The Company: Our client are the number one player in their sector and continue to grow globally. They are a member of a huge engineeringPLC and as such have plenty of infrastructure and resource to develop people and give genuine long-term careers. This role has come as a result of retirement following a long and successful career in the business.We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Have a mechanical engineering & sales background (HNC or above)
  • Have sold pumps into industrial end users
  • Field sales track record
  • A confident team player
  • Full & Clean Driving licence
Salary: £45,000-50,000 DOE + 20% OTE + Company Car + Pension + Healthcare + 27 days holidayCandidate Location: Leicester, Northampton, London, Essex
