Within a group looking to fully unleash the potential of AI and Cloud to further worker safety formany years to comePart of a Canadian Group of companies, they are the only company in their space that do what they do within IoT and associated SaaS software and are looking for bright, committed and above all innovative individual to help them create their future environmentin line with the company vision.As part of a small team located in the UK, you will work to create Dashboard applications for sensor data that will be accessed in a near real time environment using the AngularJS framework. Delivered to our large customers around the world in markets suchas oil & gas, construction, utilities, and warehousing. Customers include companies such as BP and Rio Tinto.As part of our team the Software Team Leader will help provide safety to workers in a wide range of environments.Responsibilities and Capabilities:

  • Develop front-end features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript using the AngularJS framework.
  • Understand and accurately implement requirements for new sensor integrations.
  • Write code consuming REST and WebSocket APIs.
  • Create configuration files for the back-end architecture, and extend it where necessary.
  • Participate in Agile stand-up and code review.
  • Adhere to coding and version control standards.
Experience: You will have experience in:
  • HTML, CSS, front-end JavaScript, Angular.js, Node.js, JSON
  • Git
  • Rest API usage
  • SQL relational databases
  • Object-oriented application design
The following experience is desirable:
  • REST API design
  • NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Serverless cloud application architecture
  • IoT-based communication (e.g. AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT)
