Job Description

Air Hygiene TechnicianLeicester£20,000-£26,000 + Benefits (Depending on Experience)One of our brilliant clients has just opened an exciting opportunity for an Air Hygiene/Ductwork Technician based in the Southwest. The client specialise in air/water hygiene and are committed to the HSE compliance of all their customers. They are the chosensupplier to high security government and NHS premises across the UK and have built their success using a wealth of knowledge and experience.The role would suit an experienced Air Hygiene Technician but full training can be given for the right candidate. This is an exciting chance for a hard working individual to join a market leading company working at high security premises across the Southwest.Key Tasks & Duties of an Air Hygiene Engineer

  • Inspecting, testing and cleaning of ventilation systems.
  • Kitchen canopy and filter cleans as well as grease readings.
  • Deep cleaning of kitchen areas, including floors and all walls.
  • Writing reports of work completed in line with TR19.
  • Ductwork cleaning and disinfections in confined spaces and in accordance with TR19 and COSHH regulations.
Key Experience & Skills of an Air Hygiene Engineer
  • A full UK driving license is essential for the position.
  • You must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
  • You will be trained in confined spaces with any other training being beneficial.
  • You will have excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
  • You must have some experience in a similar role & completing similar duties.
