Job Description

SRG are working with a Main Dealer Group based in Leicestershire, and we are looking to recruit a new and used car Administrator to join their growing team at their Leicester dealership.We are looking only for Motor Trade experienced applicants who have been in an Administrator role within a main dealership. Ideally, candidates will have prior volume experience and will be experienced in the use of Kerridge and Microsoft Office.Your remit is to support both the Sales function with regard to assisting and supporting the Sales Function ongoing, ordering New Cars with the correct specifications and making sure all paperwork is done correctly for all cars that are sold. You will havevery keen attention to detail, someone who likes to see things through from inception to completion.Ideal experience for the Administrator:

  • You will need to be highly organised, flexible in your approach and able to prioritise your workload
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills both written and verbal
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Sales Administrator is essential
Duties for this Sales Administrator will include:
  • Coordinating vehicles to be delivered to branches within set deadlines
  • Updating in-house computer systems
  • Ensuring all new and used car vehicle stock including vehicle funding is kept up to date
  • Providing reports as well as ad hoc reporting
  • Invoicing of new and used vehicles
  • Splitting and auditing deal files, bringing any discrepancies to the attention of the accounts department and sales manager
  • Keeping an up-to-date registration list
  • Liaising with colleagues to resolve any problems i.e. stock take issues, customer queries, debtor and creditor issues
  • To complete dealer transfers with external companies, this includes requesting and accepting transfers on the relevant manufacturer system
  • Working knowledge of AFRL and vehicle taxing systems
  • Ensure that all sales from stock are withdrawn from stock records and that necessary actions are taken to ensure vehicle adoption and payment for new vehicles
  • Locate sold orders, not in stock and order or arrange necessary transfer and payment, in line with the commitment to the customer notifying the salesperson of any anticipated shortfalls
  • Process all requests for vehicles to be transferred out ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete, vehicles removed from stock lists and any necessary payments received
  • Monitor the receipt of vehicle deliveries to ensure that they are in line with orders made and vehicle details are added to vehicle stock records
  • Completing company spreadsheets and chasing manufacturer payment queries
Package & Working Hours:
  • Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 DOE
  • Working hours: 9.00am - 5.00 pm
  • Holidays: 21 Days Holiday plus bank holidays
  • Additional benefits plus promotional discounts on New and Used Cars
