Accounts Assistant Full time/Permanent Leicester £24,000 - £27,000 SF Recruitment are working with a brilliant business based in Leicester LE3 who are seeking an Accounts Assistant t to join their team on a full time permanent basis. This position will be to support the finance department to meet deadline and ensure all transactions are processed. As the Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for: Purchase Ledger - Processing supplier invoices - Allocating payments - Dealing with supplier & purchase order queries - Processing payment runs - Reconciling Supplier Statements - Reviewing GRNIs Sales Ledger - Posting misc/sundry sales invoices and raising customer credits - Allocating Customer receipts and intercompany netting Cash book - Entering non AP and AR receipts and payments Payroll related - Update and collate absence trackers - Upload Pension contributions - Updating/resetting the monthly payroll spreadsheet Experience & Skill set required: - Attention to detail - Efficient and accurate - Good communication skills - Good time management - Payroll experience preferable - Preferably studying for an accountancy qualification If you feel you have the right skills and would like further information on this exciting opportunity send your CV to
