Mercia Group is one of them!Mercia Group is one of the leading providers of training and support services to the UK accountancy profession, working with over 8000 firms nationwide.Main Purpose of RoleAs mentioned, the main purpose of this role is to write and present high quality, high impact technical accounting and tax (intro level) related presentations.You will be responsible for the production of high-quality training materials that are technically correct, up to date, practical and valuable for our clients, presenting agreed topics in the medium and location as determined by the requirements of the customer.You will work closely with and support our Product team, contributing to the technical, client and competitor intelligence used to make Product decisions and liaising with the Product Director and Managers when updating or creating product to ensure thatclient needs are met and product solutions can be iterated to our Sales and Marketing teams.You will also get the opportunity to show your expertise in other areas such as answering the A&A Technical Queries helpline, contributing to technical content used for other purposes and/or undertaking high quality independent and objective file reviewsto evaluate accountancy practices compliance with regulatory standards.If this sounds like the kind of varied role youd find interesting, why not apply and see where it takes you.Skills and Experience Required- Excellent technical knowledge in the field of audit and accounts and compliance regulation, an ability to grasp changes and have the required skill to translate knowledge into written and verbal practical guidance to meet the needs of accountancypractitioners.- The ability to undertake a high degree of research to stay abreast of the changing regulations.- Excellent commercial awareness of the UK accounting profession.- Professionally qualified to ACA standard or equivalent with sufficient post qualified experience to be a true SME.- Ability to apply technical knowledge in a clear and practical way to a range of client firms and situations with sufficient experience of training or otherwise coaching or upskilling others within the accountancy profession.- A high degree of organisational and project management skills.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and above average competency with the English Language to take on complex writing assignments.
