Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Account Manager to join an education software provider. The salary for this position is up to £32,000 plus £8,000 OTE! The successful candidate for this role will be required to work two days a week in thecompanys head office based in Leicester and the rest remotely.Role OverviewBy managing accounts effectively, the successful candidate will feed valuable insight into the business that will inform other decision-making across all aspects of the company. In addition, you will be establishing relationships with all stakeholders inthe education sector to become a trusted advisor, leveraging creativity, credibility, and experience.Responsibilities:

  • Handle inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs.
  • Ensure that all leads assigned to you are followed up on in a timely manner.
  • Stay on top of accounts, ensuring they receive services within their budget and meet their needs.
  • Understand our solutions and be able to explain the advantages we have over our competitors clearly and concisely.
  • Meet with other team members regularly to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business.
  • Ensuring that all data is kept up to date within the companys CRM system.
  • Communicate regularly with the sales team to identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with customers by attending relevant events/conferences.
  • Aim to meet and exceed growth targets.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience working in a similar account management role.
  • Experience working with software providers.
  • Knowledge of selling into the education sector.
  • Ability to cold call effectively.
  • EdTech market knowledge - highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
