Job Description

Job Title: Account ExecutiveLocation: LeicesterSalary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum (depending on experience) + commission structureOur client is a leading provider of insurance solutions to businesses across the UK. They are looking for a Client Account Executive to join their team in Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a book of business,focusing initially on general commercial clients.Responsibilities:

  • Manage and service a book of business, building strong relationships with clients and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients businesses, risks and insurance needs.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional insurance products to clients.
  • Proactively manage renewals, negotiating with underwriters to secure the best possible terms for clients.
  • After the first 12 months, generate new business and grow the book through targeted marketing and networking activities.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role within the insurance industry, ideally with a focus on commercial insurance.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A commercial mindset and a drive to succeed.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of client relationships.
  • A solid understanding of insurance products and services.
  • CII qualifications would be advantageous but not essential.
