It is an exciting time to be joining Accept Recruitment.Main role / Responsibilities: [will include but not be limited to]:Your main duty will be to provide first line IT support, which means youll be the first person the users of our services turn to. Our existing team are renowned for the level of support they provide and the friendly way they engage with the people we support.Youll be a key part of maintaining those high standards.Youll need to sign up to our values.In time, this role will become far reaching, as well as providingtelephone and email queries well work with you to develop skills in many areas:

  • First line technical support - helping to resolve PC, windows, print and peripherals problems and setting up new devices.
  • Cleaning & running anti-virus software on users’ laptops.
  • Setting up new users with emails and relevant software accounts.
  • Configuring and deploying desktops and laptops for users across the business
  • Opportunities to work with the 2nd line team to improve the scope of your knowledge and experience.
  • Supporting application software queries.
  • Resolving data queries.
  • Working with 3rd party solution providers.
  • Gathering feedback from users of the service with regards to requirements and system improvements.
  • Website Support including backups, updates, and general backend Joomla work.
  • Zoho Deluge code; an in-house system that is key to our business.
  • Through our selected Apprenticeship training provider, you will receive the very best training available anywhere in the UK, with structured e-learning, and mentoring both from the training provider and our own team.The successful candidate will enrol onto QAs Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship standard a 15-month qualification, which incorporates both on the job & classroom learning.Desired qualities, skills and knowledge:
  • We can of course help you to develop your communication skills, but youll need to bring enthusiasm and character to the table.
  • Youll be expected to slot right into an established team and immediately contribute.
  • Youll need to have tenacity, as sometimes IT problems can be frustrating to resolve.
  • Youll need an ability to soak up knowledge.
  • Often the answer lies in documentation or online, you cant rely on someone else just knowing the answer.
  • Desired qualification requirements: Must have 3 GCSEs A-C/9-4 Grades including Maths and English grade D/3 or Equivalent)Working week: Monday to Friday 9:00am- 5:00per weekSalary: £9728 per annumBenefits:

  • Future prospects:92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship.Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.Important Information:QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
