Job Description

We are looking for a Domestic Assistant to join our team at our Kathleen Rutland Residential Home, based in Leicester Forest East, which provides high quality residential care to older people with sensory impairments.You will be required to work 30 hours per week flexibly Monday - Sunday between 8.00am - 8.00pm; including weekends and Bank Holidays to meet the needs of the care home and that of the service users.Domestic duties will include:

  • Promoting and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home
  • Following cleaning schedules and plans
  • Ensuring safe use and storage of cleaning materials
  • Operating mechanical cleaning aids such as vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, decontamination machine in accordance with operating instructions and safety guides
