Job Description

We are proud to be working in partnership with a nationwide charity who are currently recruiting for a Workforce Equality & Culture Lead on a 12-month fixed term contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The Salary for this role paying £43,000 with competitive company benefits included.The ideal candidate will ideally be an EDI specialist and must have strong cultureawareness with an ability to deliver and make positive change. Alongside this you will have experience of embedding EDI initiatives into the heart of organisational business processes.Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Leading the delivery of the Organisational Development (Culture and EDI) strand across the business
  • Aiming to improve; diversity in recruitment; career development for under-represented staff; inclusion through enhanced staff support; diversity through apprenticeships and work placements and lead on employee engagement
  • Supporting strategy to drive employee satisfaction and culture change
  • Supporting the development of our new ways of working activities
  • Acting as a trusted partner and build relationships with business leaders to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement
  • Assessing culture performance and establish areas of improvement, identify blockages and implement solutions, challenging the status quo where there is a better way
  • Managing employee experience initiatives, including engagement surveys, employee recognition programs and team building activities
  • Supporting the Fund’s EDI Staff Networks, including facilitating and supporting group activities
Expertise required:
  • Proficient with spreadsheets and use of Microsoft Word and Power Point
  • Strong and current EDI and culture awareness and knowledge
  • Able to deliver and make positive change within a business
