Job Description

Web Content Editor- Digital Communications - C£30,000- £40,000West Yorkshire Remote/ Hybrid- ASAP StartClient DetailsA large public sector organisationDescriptionAs a Web Content and Publications Specialist you will be involved in a broad range or work.The post holder will:

  • Work with internal stakeholders to create content plans and plan delivery of major projects
  • Brief and manage external contributors and ensure all content is fully signed off, of the highest possible quality and on time
  • Work with internal stakeholders and communications colleagues to make sure products fully meet our objectives
  • Ensure publications are accessible in HTML as well as printed format
  • Coordinate within the team or project groups design, development and implementation of updates to the corporate websites / content management system to support all marketing activities and delivery of marketing strategy and associated web and digital strategy
  • Ensure that the corporate standard sets for the production of online corporate, promotional and marketing material and brand utilisation are adhered to
  • Support the design and development processes required to improve web and digital products and standards, making recommendations were appropriate, to enhance product delivery and ensure compliance with GDPR and web accessibility regulations
ProfileAs a web content specialist you will have a proven track record of working as a web, content or digital communications specialist
  • Strong examples of delivering high quality content as well as good proof-reading skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across a complex organisation
  • Proactive self-starter with excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Experience in Adobe (Photoshop/ Indesign)
  • Experience of email management software, preferably Mailchimp
Job Offer£30,000- £40,000 (day rate) flexible working/ home/ hybridYou will need to be in Leeds ideally once a weekA potential opportunity to apply for the role on a permanent basisASAP start
