Job Description

Water Hygiene Engineer (with progression to legionella risk assessment) - Leeds£20,000-£25,000 with great benefitsOne of the UKs leading environmental consultancy are keen to welcome an experienced water hygiene or water treatment engineer to their ever-growing team. They are looking for someone with an eye to progress into risk assessing, providing the training andqualifications to do so.They provide an array of services from within the group, including cleaning and pest control as well as a water hygiene division- focusing on risk assessment, monitoring and remedials. Their client base is largely commercial including restaurants, healthcareand retail sectors, provided a varied and challenging role.Your role will entail:

  • Hygiene duties including monitoring for legionella, temperature checks
  • TMV servicing and tank inspections
  • Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments and producing schematics
  • Operating across the Yorkshire region, with some further travel
The requirements for the successful Water Hygiene Engineer include:
  • 3 years experience in the water hygiene industry
  • Full and ideally clean UK driving licence
  • Some experience performing risk assessments or reviews is advantageous
  • If you already possess a C&G or WMSoc Risk Assessment qualification this is ideal
  • Eager to learn and develop in your role
  • Communication, Organisation, and IT skills
The package involved includes:
  • Basic starting salary up to £25,000 (this may be more depending on qualifications)
  • Company Vehicle with fuel card and phone
  • 33 days holiday including bank
  • Training, learning development and progression
