Volunteer CoordinatorAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and well organised person to join the team at a Hospice in Leeds, in the role of Volunteer Coordinator.In this role you will be working with an incredible healthcare team provideexpert care and support for people who are living with life-limiting conditions, as well as supporting their families and loved ones.Position: Volunteer CoordinatorLocation: Headingley, LeedsHours: 22.5 hours per week over 3 days (Days/Hours flexible)Salary:£23,732 per annum pro rataContract: PermanentBenefits: Company pension scheme, 25 days holiday (pro rata), rising to 30 with length of service plus bank holidays, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, enhanced sick pay, corporate discount with hundreds ofretailers and services.Closing date: 13th April 2022About the role:Volunteers are absolutely vital to everything that is done at the Hospice. They help keep the care centre running smoothly, raise essential money to provide more care, and offer exceptionalsupport to clients and their families and carers.As Volunteer Coordinator you will lead an inclusive and impactful volunteering experience. You will lead on the day to day administration and support of a team of volunteers and their activities; recognisingindividual strengths and effectively deploying volunteers into roles that will meet the needs of the clients and the centre.About you:You will be a keen advocate for volunteering, with experience of best practice in volunteer management including recruitment,reward and recognition, communication, and training and development.You may have experience in areas such as Volunteer Manager, Volunteer Management, Volunteer Coordinator, Volunteering, Volunteer, Programme Coordinator.
