Job Description

Job Title: Trainee IT Support TechnicianLocation: LeedsSalary: £20-£22k starting salaryREF:J13389Sector: ITPioneers in their field, our client are a leading Tech organisation offering cloud support and services to businesses across a magnitude of sectors!Our client now have an exciting opportunity to join their business as Trainee IT Support Technicians through a rewarding and nationally recognised apprenticeship programme!Package:

Role:
  • First line support via Telephone, Email Ticketing and LiveChat - understanding the issue and triaging effectively whilst maintaining open communication channels with the customers
  • Operations support, which may include connecting users to the network
  • Checking systems are updated and that automated updates have been applied
  • Supporting partners out in the field (you on the phone, supporting a partner who is on site)Implementing all-new customers
  • Assist with providing customer demonstrations and training on the software where required
Requirements:
  • GCSEs in Maths and English as a minimum (A-Levels, NVQs, Diplomas or Foundation degrees are highly desirable)
  • Strong interest in IT and keen to develop your skills
  • Fantastic people and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
