Job Description

Toolmaker required to join a well-established company based in the Leeds area. The successful candidate will be responsible for using a range of machines including Turning machines, Surface grinders and CNC machines. The successful candidate will come froma toolmaker background and have some CNC Lathe experience.Toolmaker Position Overview

  • Bench fitting / Manual Machining, Turning machines and other CNC machines.
  • Set and Operate a range of machines
  • Making tools from scratch as well as repairing and servicing tools
  • Support other colleagues and provide guidance where needed.
  • Complete tool reports and ordering of spare parts
  • Comply with company standards
Toolmaker Position Requirements
  • Experience within a Toolmaker role or similar previously
  • Experience with CNC Lathes
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings
  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of lean manufacturing
  • Live within a commutable distance to Leeds (LS10 postcode)
Toolmaker Position Remuneration
  • Full time - Permanent
  • Day shift - 37.5 hours a week
  • Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
  • 28 days holiday (including bh)
  • Pension
