Job Description

Scrub Practitioner Leeds £26,500- £33,000 doe + Benefits and EnhancementsEclypse Recruitment is searching for a Scrub Practitioner to join an independent private hospital based in Leeds. Our client has been providing an extensive range of surgical and medical treatments ranging from minor procedures to major operations.We are looking for an experienced Scrub Practitioner to work within this busy hospital which caters for a number of specialities including general surgery, cosmetic, endoscopy, oncology, orthopaedics and ophthalmology.We are looking for someone who can demonstrate their passion, enthusiasm and commitment to nursing and willingness for continuing professional development. You must be an effective communicator, organised and have the ability to make decisions within yourscope of practice.As a Theatre Practitioner at this hospital in Leeds which covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will support in assessing patients health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patientsneeds. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.Ideally you will be a Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner with extensive Scrub and or perioperative experience and be used to working in teams with minimum supervision.REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in Scrub/ Theatres
  • Experience preferably in either of the specialisms above
  • Registered with the NMC or HCPC
  • Genuine interest in working in a theatre/ surgical setting
