Test Lead - Leeds/Hybrid (2 days in the office) - £75,000Who they areThis award-winning company are looking for an experienced Test Lead to join their growing team of experts. With offices based in Newcastle, Leeds, London and even in the US, the Digital experts are looking to grow their already successful team.   • Present regularly to the wider team regarding the QA teams plans and stratergy
  • Defining QA strategy, approach and execution in development.
  • Responsible for leading and directing the QA leadership team
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise within Quality Assurance and Test Automation
  • Produces the overall test delivery plan defining the business and IT test deliverable milestones, test tasks and activities; tracking progress against this and implements strategies to recover slippage
  • Supports the team in determining which test phases will be automated and in selecting and implementing appropriate test tools
  • Implement a well-structured approach to test defect management and incident reporting
  • Be able to work on multiple projects and manage these projects efficiently and effectively
  • Work and communicate with senior stakeholders
  • Implement clear test strategies
Essential Skills
  • Experience with both automation and Manual testing processes
  • Experience in developing and writing Test Strategies and Approaches Demonstrates managing test teams both onshore and offshore
  • Experience leading a project team in tight timescales
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Experience with implementing and configuring a variety of leading testing tools and understanding how best to exploit them
  • Ability to be able to jump in and help the team with hands on testing if and when needed
  • Extensive experience of defining and implementing waterfall, agile and hybrid/custom testing approaches
  • Experience in a senior testing position, including leading a team
  • Experience of managing teams working on multiple projects
