Job Description

Page Personnel are looking to speak with immediately available employee relations specialists for a Temporary Employee Relations Advisor position with a fantastic client based in Leeds. The role will entail managing a high volume of complex E.R matters, working with senior stakeholders to ensure HR support to the business is understood and support is delivered efficiently and effectively. On offer is an immediate start with an attractive package.Client DetailsOur client is a regionally recognised commercial organisation with its head office based in Leeds. The Temporary Employee Relations Advisor role sits within a well-established and highly experienced HR team, where development and full training will be provided.The client continue to work remotely for the foreseeable with plans to gradually return to the office in the Summer, therefore full equipment will be provided for this position.DescriptionIn this fast-paced Temporary Employee Relations Advisor position based in Leeds, main duties will include;

  • Advise line managers on the application of HR policies and procedures for specific employee relations issues cases
  • Provide support for and/or manage the delivery of project work relating to HR policies, employment legislation and other employee relations work, as required by business needs
  • Proactively manage own continuing professional development and share legislative and best practice updates with own team and other HR colleagues
  • Work with, and build relationships throughout the business, and in particular with HR Business Partners, Talent team, Occupational Health and Business Support Group
  • Support the HR Business Partners with specific cases of organisational change
  • Profile
  • Practical experience of managing ER issues and HR case management, from informal meetings through to dismissals and appeals
  • CIPD qualified is preferred
  • Ability to create strong collaborative relationships with all colleagues and representatives
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to influence appropriately with all stakeholders including line managers, employees and trade union representatives
  • Ability to research, analyse and reason logically and effectively within tight and conflicting timeframes
