Job Description

A well-established independent insurance broker with a reputation for quality, looking to recruit a Telemarketer/Appointment Setter, based in Leeds.This varied role will see you supporting different teams within the group working closely with department senior managers assisting them to deliver their financial goals and objectives.Other responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct outbound telesales activity
  • New business generation via telesales activity
  • Influencing, negotiating and persuading stakeholders
  • Achieving sales targets in line with KPIs
  • Achieving activity targets in line with KPIs
  • Develop new business opportunities and lead generation
  • Following up on leads generated by other employees/departments
  • Record all activity onto CRM system
  • Liaise with external agencies when required
  • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with customers (internal/external)
  • Market analysis and feedback
  • Maintaining market and competitor knowledge
  • Using a variety of sales techniques to attract new business opportunities
  • Identify and follow up on new business leads
You need a proven track record in outbound sales, consistently delivering your targets. You need to be self-motivated, confident, and a reliable individual, a committed team player able to work under pressure.It is important to be committed to self-development, practice good work habits: setting priorities and goals and following through on commitments, known for integrity, candour, authenticity, transparency, and being non-political. You need to be self-disciplinedand self-reliant.
