Technical Architect (Mobile App technology - Front End) - Newly Created Role - Leeds (Hybrid) - c£95K + Bonus + Bens Our Clients app is available on over 20 different platforms including mobiles, tablets, PCs, smart TVs, and games consoles and is used by 3.5 million customers every week. The app team is responsible for creating the best possible user experience on owned-and-operatedplatforms, one that is both seamless and that encourages visitors to become customers, to engage more, and to return more often. This exciting role will be at the forefront of shaping the Front End architecture of the platform. The role has direct impact on the experience of millions of customers. The Technical Architect will be responsible for providing technical oversight, design and management of change and technical stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for progressing the technical infrastructure, platform architecture and a strong emphasison supporting the evolution of the platform under the expert guidance of the Principal Architect and the wider architecture practice.A successful candidate will be expected to lead by example to empower development teams to thrive and deliver fantastic products. They will also demonstrate a technical depth of knowledge that enables informed decision making and strategic planning.The role will be ideal for self-starters who are familiar with full-stack design.Essential Experience and SkillsYou have broad tech architect experience based on practical experience gained working in a systems development environment, ideally working on client device applications from feasibility to implementation. * A proven record of accomplishment of working across multiple client devices including mobile (iOS + Android) and web. * Experience of cloud-based infrastructure, design, and best practices, with AWS experience preferred.* Hands-on experience with Agile delivery practices across the full project lifecycle, preferably within a large enterprise. * Experience of taking output from the User Experience / UX design processes, such a Figma designs, and translating them into platform specific deliverables.* Proven delivery client applications within a services-based architecture with a track record of secure, scalable, maintainable solutions.* Understanding of Service-Oriented and Domain based Architectures* Modern web development practices and architecture* A first-hand appreciation of / experience with hands-on development using any of Javascript, Kotlin, Java, Swift, Objective C or Brightscript.
