The Team Coordinator will work alongside the Team Leader to provide administrative support and ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of our small and busy teams work, which encompasses the Diocesan Advisory Committee for the Care of Churches (DAC),the Area Mission and Pastoral Committees (AMPCs) and the Closed Churches Task Group (CCTG). The DAC supports parishes in maintaining their church buildings and making appropriate changes, the AMPCs look at ways to better organise parishes through boundarychanges and other means, and the CCTG considers new uses for churches that have closed.The Team Coordinator will play a key role in drawing together the different aspects of the teams remit in a consistent way and contributing to our team objective of working as a holistic operation. This will be achieved by providing robust administrativesupport and assisting the team in keeping abreast of casework. The Team Coordinator will be central to ensuring good external communication with parishes, having primary responsibility for upkeep of our webpages, liaison with the Communications team over stories,dissemination of new guidance, and organisation of training events.The successful candidate must be self-motivated and come to administrative tasks with a creative approach and eye to improvements. They must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. An enthusiasm for and interest in the work of the team iscrucial, with the role being ideally suited to someone with an interest in developing experience in the heritage and built environment sector.
