Job Description

Vacancy - Supply SEN Teaching Assistant Location - LeedsStart date - Immediate start Salary - £70 - £90 per day Contract - Temp to Perm Empowering Learning are a market leading education recruitment company. We are working in partnership with an SupplySEN Special Needs School based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint an Supply SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time vacancy, seeking an outstanding candidate to join the school on their journey of growth. The successful candidate can expect to work in a challenging but rewarding environment. The school leadership help and support all members ofstaff to help them achieve their full potential.The job

  • To provide support and guidance to the pupil by removing barriers to
  • To support and facilitate change and transition along the journey to excellence.
  • To be a consistent support to avoid any further disruption.
  • To be an active participant in supporting the timetable in all its different context.
  • Complete assessments and records of students progress and achievement.
  • Work 1.2.1 and group settings to support pupils with complex needs.
The successful candidate will
  • Hold a Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
  • Have experience in an SEMH/SEND setting.
  • Hold relevant experience / qualifications suited to supporting learners with additional needs.
  • Have experience supporting learners with SEMH, challenging behaviours & SEND needs.
  • Be resilient, dedicated and reliable.
  • Team teach training would be preferable.
