Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment are proud to be partnered with one of the worlds most recognisable brands on the recruitment of a supply chain planner.The role will be responsible for planning the supply of assigned product lines to globally meet forecasted demand and ensure customer service, inventory and cost KPIs are met.JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Using the monthly forecast from the sales teams, plan supply to meet customer service, inventory and cost KPIs. Support the monthly Supply - - - Review, ensuring this delivers an aligned plan and clear visibility of stock availability, projected inventory, inventory health, service and cost.- Ensure on-time delivery of new and promotional products to market. Represent Supply Chain within NPD (New Production Development) and Limited Edition project teams.- Work with suppliers to optimise the supply plan and Supply Chain flows.- Report supplier on-time performance. Work with suppliers and the wider ghd operations team to resolve issues as they arise. Put in place the right processes, calls and reports to manage supplier performance.- Manage operational activities to ensure the availability of stock to meet forecasted demand, including raising purchase orders, updating supplier schedules, tracking and managing documentation for inbound deliveries.- Work with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to identify every opportunity to drive out excess and obsolete inventory.- Anticipate issues to help manage Supply Chain risk. "Go the extra mile" to ensure that issues are resolved promptly.KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES- Experience in a Supply Planning role, ideally within a similar consumer products business- Experience in managing extended third party supply chains, including manufacturing in the Far East, would be ideal.-Able to work under own direction to tight deadlines.- Excellent attention to detail with the capability to troubleshoot and solve problems.- Sound numerical skills and proficient in Excel.- Strong and effective organising and communication skills.- Relevant systems experience (Logility planning suite and SAP would be ideal but not required).If you have the right experience then we would love to hear from you so please get in touch today for more information.BBBH16903
