Job Description

Pod Talent are excited to be working with a haircare and supplements business who are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join their team in Leeds.In this role, you will be working on demand forecasting and supplier management for 3 global regions and implementing new S&OP processes in partnership with the Head of Supply Chain & Operations.This is a great opportunity for an experienced supply chain planner to join a recognised brand with exceptional financial backing and gain valuable exposure across the end-to-end supply chain.ResponsibilitiesAs Supply Chain Planner, your responsibilities will include

  • Utilising Excel and analytical ability to manage demand planning and forecasting for SKU portfolio for UK, EU, US warehouses
  • Partnering with Operations & Supply Chain to implement and develop a best-in-practice forecasting cycle
  • Supporting in foundation of S&OP process and formalised commercial meetings
  • Generating purchase plans with manufacturers to delivery stock to support demand forecasts
  • Working closely with Operations & Supply Chain Manager to manage relationships with UK and international suppliers/ co-packers/ manufacturers to ensure optimal service levels
  • Liaising with 3PLs to ensure delivery of orders into warehouses
RequirementsSome of the things you will need:
  • 2-3 years prior experience in a demand-focused supply chain planning role
  • A background in FMCG, consumer goods, cosmetics, or retail
  • Very strong analytical ability using Excel
  • A passion for getting involved in all elements of a business
  • A collaborative approach to your work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
