Job Description

You will support the Supply Planner team to plan incoming stock into national and international depots, liaising with external manufacturers and internal stakeholders to ensure the right balance between forecast orders and depot availability.Client DetailsOur client is a well-known household brand name operating out of Leeds. Due to a significant growth target and an new system implementation, they are looking to bring in support for the current team to help them achieve their revenue targets.Description

  • Ensure that unbound containers are routed to country DCs to enable stock to be in the correct DC for future orders and optimize the utilization of storage
  • Arrange stock transfers between country to ensure that inventory is maximized and reduce the liability for overstocks
  • Balance stock between B2B and B2C sub-inventories to enable both channels to achieve sales plan
  • Liaise and coordinate with Sales/Order Management/Inbound Logistics and Country Logistics teams to ensure transparent communication and smooth flow of goods from Inbound to Customer
  • Provide reporting of KPIs to enable performance to be understood and highlight any blockages in the process
  • Collaborate with various business stakeholders across the organization to gather relevant data
  • Be the first point of contact for stock in and Inventory queries
Profile
  • Previous experience in a similar supply chain/logistics/purchasing role
  • Strong systems skills including Excel and ideally Power BI
  • Confident when communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Job Offer
  • Salary equivalent to £30-35K DOE
  • Hybrid working - 3 days in office
