Job Description

Structural CAD TechnicianOur client has an exciting opportunity for an Engineer with construction experience to work within their Technical Department in their Leeds office (LS9). Their Engineers are renowned for their technical knowledge, attention to detail and excellent customerservice. ACS Stainless Steel Fixings Limited is a leading design and manufacturing business supplying specialist structural building components and systems to the construction industry.ACS believes in investing in the training and development of talented individuals to expand their growing Team.Salary: £26,052.50-£35,000.00 per yearJob type: Full-time, PermanentStructural CAD Technician Duties:

  • The Engineer produces high quality technical drawings using a combination of floorplans, elevations, and sections for customer approval.
  • Working closely with our client to ensure our products are delivered on time, on budget and to exacting technical requirements.
  • The successful candidate will form part of a growing technical team and work closely with our onsite production facility, sales team and other supporting departments.
  • Projects include commercial, industrial, residential buildings, including iconic buildings such as football stadiums, national event centres and educational institutes.
Structural CAD Technician Requirements:
  • A good knowledge of engineering principles and construction methods
  • Minimum 2 years experience within the construction sector
  • CAD / AutoCAD (or similar) experience preferred
  • Self-motivated and quick thinking
  • Have excellent communication skills
Structural CAD Technician Benefits:
