Job Description

Stores Coordinator – Competitive Salary – Leeds, West YorkshireThe RoleThe company is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Stores Coordinator to receive and dispatch equipment parts to and from our onsite stores. The Stores Coordinator will load and unload outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles. You will select products from the stores, load and secure goods to pallets, move inventory to delivery area, and load equipment parts where required.The successful candidate will be organised and dependable, keeping their work environment and surrounding communal areas including training room clean and tidy, and complying with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career with a rapidly growing company.The key responsibilities of a Stores Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

  • Taking care of incoming calls and answering machine messages from MMM front desk, distributing these calls and messages to the responsible person(s)
  • Opening and checking orders are correct following receipt of goods from any courier prior to booking into MMM stock management systems
  • Creating essential areas within stores relating to the full compliance of the quality management system, such as product booking area, goods to be dispatched, non-conformities and incomplete orders
  • Generating quotations and invoices requested, and orders to current and new clients, utilising the part request tracker and goods in tracker
  • Following up on all outstanding orders ensuring deliveries timescales are met, utilising the goods dispatch tracker to ensure all service level agreements are achieved
  • Dispatching parts to engineers and clients by Preparing each part for shipment and directing movement to staging area
  • Documenting actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records and maintaining databases as requested by the Parts Coordinator
