Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are exclusively working with a leading manufacturing business based in Leeds, in the search for a Stock and Inventory Manager (Warehouse Manager). This is a hands on role, you will be responsible for maximising the performance of the department by ensuring all stock accuracy is maintained, ensuring the material flow into production and improving service levels at both raw material and finished good stages of the supply chain operation.Alongside this, you will be tasked with taking strategic responsibility for warehouse, goods in/out team and be strong enough to implement changes where needed.An extremely flexible role, you will have the ability and freedom to take complete ownership of the Department and there is also a long-term progression plan for this role.Key duties and responsibilities will include:- Taking a strategic look at the department - where can changes be made and how can the Supply Chain function be improved- Managing and being responsible for all incoming and outgoing stock- Ensuring stock accuracy and PI management of all SKUs, ensuring the right product is available for pick, pack and dispatch at the right time- Optimising the effectiveness of the stock yard environment- Managing a team of goods in/out warehouse staff- Completing Inventory Management - Liaising with internal and external stakeholders- Ensuring service levels are achieved and maintainedElevation Procurement & Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates who have the following skills and experiences:- Experience with managing and building successful stock and inventory teams- Knowledge and experience implementing WMS, Stock Control systems- Knowledge and experience within a manufacturing environment- Experience of organising and coordinating Goods In/Out- Attention to detail and extremely strong communication skillsElevation Procurement & Supply Chain is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment focusing on engineering, operational and technical positions in Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
