A Leeds based business who are the leaders in the design and development of a suite of software development tools, used by some of the largest companies in the world are looking to recruit a meticulous software quality assurance specialist to the team. KO2s clients tools are used in mission critical and safety critical applications so a mind that is agile, methodical and an approach to software based around quality is vitally important. It is vital the company finds someone who is passionate about software assurance and testing, this is not a role for a junior tester on the way to being a software engineer role, this is a senior role.The successful candidate will be passionate about working with advanced technologies for automation as well as working to more formal software coding standards, such as MISRA. The role will be to work with the software teams to help them work within the standards set by the software verification engineer and as a result it is important the software quality engineer has an excellent understanding of software as well as quality and assurance.The candidate will have some of the below skills, but it is not necessary to have all the skills.
