Software Support Analyst - Leeds - SQL, ERPThis is an opportunity to join a really interesting, fast-paced company supporting their clients in a post-rollout capacity of their cutting edge software solutions. They are a close-knit team of passionate IT professionals and can offer an attractive remuneration package and ample opportunities for professional development and exposure to new technologies.DescriptionSoftware Support Analyst - Leeds - SQL, ERPThe successful candidate will report to the support director and work closely with the development, support, and implementation teams. To support the product and surrounding infrastructure effectively you may get involved in some projects-based activities too.Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Logging new calls
  • Supporting the installation and post-rollout of the core software integration product
  • Liaising with 2nd line support team
  • XSLT for data mapping
  • TCP/IP based protocols for exchanging data such as HTTP(S), FTP, SFTP, SMTP, AS2, REST, and SOAP
  • SQL queries
  • Windows scripting and scheduling tools
    • ProfileThe successful candidate will be an experienced IT professional with a demonstrable background in a support function. Ideally you will have worked in a consultancy/software reseller type company previously and be comfortable in a client facing capacity.We are looking for the following experience:
  • Experience of supporting business critical back office software in a customer facing environment
  • Good understanding of end to end support processes
  • SQL querying skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • It would be highly preferred if you are able to demonstrate experience with any of the following:
  • Experience supporting ERP solutions or exposure to them in a user environment. Specifically, we are interested in the supply chain aspects
  • Experience of EDI standards and systems
  • Basic understanding of SOAP and REST web services
  • Understanding and experience of XML and the XSLT language along with XPATH
