Job Description

Software Engineers - £25,000-£60,000 DOE - LeedsEmbark on a new challenge and join my client and their development team.My client needs a range of developers, therefore there are roles available at both junior and senior levels.Your experience does not have to fully match the companys tech stack, as long you have at least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer with a willingness to learn.Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of commercial experience
  • Docker / Kubernetes
  • Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, Flink, Spark
  • CI/CD
  • Redis, Memcached
  • gRPC, Protobuf, Avro
  • Postgres, Cassandra, Mongo, Hadoop
  • Puppet, Chef, Ansible
  • TDD
  • AWS, GCP
  • Go
  • Node
  • JavaScript
  • Python
Desirable:
  • Experience with low latency systems
  • Experience in distributed, real-time, resilient, scalable systems
  • Background in electronic trading systems
  • Experience of "share nothing" distributed architectures
  • Understanding of event-driven distributed compute from front end through to back end transaction management
  • Experience in delivering end-to-end code including networking, load balancing, and automated re-provisioning of resources
