Job Description

Software Engineer - Fully remote - £55 - £65K + Benefits An excellent opportunity has arisen within a field leading client of ours who are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join an existing team who are responsible for building and maintaining the backend powering the end to end software developmentlife cycle to design and implement new features and the ongoing support and monitoring of the API estate.Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver first class, maintainable and scalable software through the agile process.
  • Take part in the architectural design of projects and understand the challenges that come with building a distributed application at scale.
  • Create modern, efficient integrations between existing systems and cloud provider services.
  • Be aware of current development trends and identify practical uses for these.
  • Be part of establishing best practices and setting code quality standards.
  • Engage in and contribute to Sprint ceremonies
Experience
  • 5+ years commercial software development experience using C# / .NET / .NET Core
  • Demonstrable understanding of SOLID design principals
  • TDD/DDD
  • Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/SQL) and Entity Framework
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and REST best practice
