A Leeds electronics business who expect to have sales of £12million this financial year, a significant increase on previous years (due to consistent investment into R&D), are looking to recruit for a Software Developer to join the team and have the opportunity to work in a variety of software languages, tools and methodologies.The business are leaders in innovative IoT solutions which have stemmed from their consistent development of their core product range and will allow a motivated software developer to work in a varied role within a stable and successful company which has featured on TV on many occasions.The role is unique as the business is flexible on the software languages and skills the software developer has used as this role will involve programming at the GUI level, embedded level and some PLC hardware work, all of which connect to the integrated world, IoT. If you are a software developer who has a passion for a variety of technology this is a very rare opportunity to cement your core skills and learn new programming languages, to become a true full stack developer.The business is happy to consider a talented C++ programmer or python developer used to working on UIs who would also find the opportunity to work with embedded systems and some PLC programming tasks (less than 30% of the role) exciting. However the company would be equally as happy to consider an embedded software engineer with strong C/C++ skills on bare metal or an RTOS who would be interested in furthering their GUI skills and doing some PLC programming tasks.
