Job Description

Social Media Executive £25k - £27k + BenefitsLeeds Area - hybrid workingOur client is a rapidly online sports retailer and they have a new requirement for an experienced Social Media Executive. As part of a small Social Media team, you will help to develop and execute market-leading social campaigns for many brands, across a varietyof channels, in order to drive revenue, reach, following and increased brand awareness.Key Tasks:

  • Assist in the planning to execution of marketing campaigns, across Social Media platforms (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube). Including copywriting, following brand guidelines and working closely with the wider marketingteam to ensure all online output is integrated
  • Coordination of Social Media asset creation, as part of the growing need for eye-catching designs and animated content
  • Work closely with the Social Media Coordinator and marketing team, to help grow influencer and ambassador network. Keep track of budgets, contracts and deliverables
  • Scheduling and publishing social content as required
  • Analysis of campaign performance
  • Analysis of competitor campaigns
  • Assist with social community management to advocate the brand and strengthen the connection with followers and beyond.
Requirements:
  • Imaginative, creative and Social Media Obsessed. Youre up to date with all the latest trends and Social Media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat)
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in Social Media role. B2C is preferred. Experience of Social Media scheduling is required
  • A natural communicator. Youre quick to build relationships and establish rapport with influencers, managers and agencies at all levels
  • Excellent copywriting skills for content and scripts
  • Strong presentation skills, plus proficiency in Excel and Google Analytics
  • Organised, flexible and adaptable. Youre a fast learner with great attention to detail and ready to hit the ground running
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, juggling multiple projects and prioritising where necessary
  • A team player. Someone who isnt afraid to roll up their sleeves and work collaboratively with others as part of a wider team
  • Knowledge of the sport, outdoors or fitness industry is desirable but not essential
