Over the last couple of years, Yorkshire has been relatively quiet in terms of infrastructure development. The good news is that this is all about to change. We are working with the civil engineering contractor that is likely to be busiest over the next few years in the region and they have highlighted a number of vacancies that they are going to have to fill if theyre going to successfully deliver on their commitments. The office location for these roles will be Leeds.One of the roles is for a Site Engineer and we are looking for candidates with drive to be the best they can be. You should be qualified to at least HND level and have experience of working for a main contractor on highway infrastructure schemes. In terms of duties and responsibilities you will be required to set out for roads, kerbs, drainage, ducting, structures, etc… There will also be supervisory responsibilities in respect of trades and labour on site and a requirement to keep records and complete site diaries. To be considered for the role you should hold the relevant academic qualification mentioned above and have demonstrable and current experience within civil engineering as a Site Engineer.
