Our Trust is recognised for our staff engagement, great care and rated GOOD by the Care Quality Commission.The Endoscopy Service in the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust operates across three sites:- St James’s University Hospital Leeds General Infirmary and Wharfedale Hospital.Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest acute health providers in the UK and based in one of the fastest growing and vibrant cities in the north.We are looking to recruit a Band 6 Sister/Charge nurse to join our large team of dynamic and skilled nurses working in Endoscopy Services.As a, you must be professional, have excellent interpersonal skills, and recognise the need to work flexibly to best serve the needs of our department and patients. Additionally, you must be able to work autonomously as well as within a team and have a passion for delivering customer service and a desire to provide an exceptional patient experience.The service operates an out of hours on call emergency rota providing support and therapy for acute gastrointestinal bleeds.Full in house training is provided based on competency assessments.Full and part time hours will be considered.For all new starters to the Trust we have a structured Introduction to Professional Practice (IPP) Induction programme to prepare you for working at LTHT.
