Our unique place in the market, combined with our partnership and relationship management approach, enables us to play a vital role in connecting issuers with 5 million shareholders around the world.Role Overview:The role of our Share Plans Administration Supervisor is based within our Operational Share Plans Team here at our brand new state of the art Leeds City Centre office and will involve the supervisory oversight and guidance for teams carrying out services for clients and their employees.The Share Plans Supervisor will ensure the team carry out their respective daily functions in order to meet deadlines, deliver and maintain a high quality, accurate and outstanding customer service at all times.The team is responsible for all aspects of contact with clients and participants of Employee Share Plans, maintenance and general administration work for the clients’ records. This role will be responsible for all technical processes and needs to conform to all regulatory obligations including but not limited to the CASS rules applicable to the functions.Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities:· Demonstrate and lead team to display required behaviours and competencies to enable role-holders to complete the role to a high standard, embrace change and provide an exceptional service to colleagues and the business in general.· Oversee the general administration work of the team on a day-to-day basis, providing hands-on assistance and technical guidance where necessary.· Promote Company’s purpose statement of “together we achieve” and lead teams in embodying this ethos.· Working with the Operations Manager to plan, monitor and co-ordinate workflow ensuring work is processed in a timely and efficient manner, taking remedial action where required in order to maintain internal and externally imposed SLAs at all times.· Ensure full compliance with internal and external procedures and FCA regulations including CASS and MiFID II rules.· Maintain regular quality and control reviews and recommend areas for improvement.· Monitor the effectiveness of working procedures and ensure that these are met by all staff, ensuring procedures are regularly reviewed and updated as required.· Monitor complaints, incident reports and other MI and key controls to ensure that the integrity of Link IRG Trustees Ltd and its clients are upheld, and escalation is timely, implementing remedial action and providing solutions where necessary.· Identify and arrange necessary training and development needs of the staff to ensure high levels of competence.· Monitor the performance and effectiveness of the teams at both team and individual level through regular meetings and appraisals.· Maintain an awareness of strategic issues affecting the industry.· Undertake any project work delegated by the Management team. working to deadlines and delegate work when necessary to achieve goal· Take personal responsibility for your ongoing knowledge and mandatory training requirements as set out.· Comply with Link’s ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ policy at all times.· Perform any adhoc tasks as defined by the operations management team .Experience & Personal Attributes Needed:Required:· GCSE Maths & English grade C minimum.· Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word & Outlook.· IOC or ICSA Employee Share Plans qualified (or the ability to achieve qualification within two years of employment with us which will pay for).· Previous experience of leading teams.· Experience of managing deadlines/service level provision, delivering or collaborating on small and large projects.· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to forge relationships with a variety of people at all levels and rapport with clients.· Effective communication skills demonstrating the ability to listen, express and articulate information effectively, facilitating multiway communications to help improve the overall customer experience.· Able to take ownership...
